- Homework paper (from Tuesday September 14th)
Think of a place you have always wanted to travel to, but never had the chance. Don’t think about what it would cost, just let your imagination run wild. Would you go to Hawaii and relax in the sand under a palm tree, sipping on a cold drink straight out of a coconut shell? Or would you go to a metropolis and absorb all the sights and smells it has to offer? The possibilities are endless. Luckily for you, the student committee at your school has some spare money, and is hosting a competition where one student can win a trip to anywhere in the world. The winner is chosen based on his or her application letter.
Imagine that you are applying to the student committee to win your dream trip.Write an application letter to the student committee (300–400) words, explaining why they should choose you. Include the following:
- A description of where you would like to go
- A description of what you plan to do there
- Some arguments for why the committee should choose you as the winner
- Some thoughts about how you think this trip would influence you
