10.1 – English (Individual)

1. Read the article: Does Playing Sports Affect Someone – Make a list of 5-10 words you’ve looked up in the dictionary while reading the text
2. Make a presentation of a sport (in English!!!) – which sport you present is for you to decide. In your presentation you have to touch on:

• • • Why you’ve chosen this specific sport
    • The history and development of the sport
    • How can the sport contribute in the different areas according to the article you’ve just read (health, social advantages og carreer)
    • What’s the disadvantages of the sport? (e.g. can everybody participate? Risks? Other?)

The presentation is for 1-2 of your classmates – not the whole class – and it should last about 4 minutes.
